• In collaboration with the University of Rhode Island and the Rhode Island Quality Partners, APC Analytical Services created a set of five (5) Quality Measures on behalf of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, including an assessment of the frequency of electronic prescribing within health plans and across provider settings.
• Our team helped CMS develop the business case for investing capital and resources to implement these new measures to produce cost savings, reduce mortality and morbidity, and improve the quality of life for patients and their perception of their care.
• APC Analytical Services partnered with the National Committee on Quality Assurance (NCQA) and the Pharmacy Quality Alliance (PQA) to create performance measurements that were designed in accordance with directives for improving pharmacy quality under the Medicare Modernization Act (MMA).
• Our clinical team authored the Summary of National Pharmacy Quality Measures on behalf of the PQA.
